Listing a number of acreages each year I continue to receive potential buyer inquiries wanting a better feel for the land layout and outbuilding configuration – and standard pictures can’t represent the property layout very well.
I started thinking of ways to get an aerial view so a buyer could visualize the property. Google maps worked. I was able to capture a picture of the land and draw in the property lines but it still only offered a grainy one-dimensional view. The solution, after some research, is aerial video.
Now, in addition to standard pictures and a Google Maps birds eye view, I’ve started to provide aerial video to all of my listing clients. Nothing gives a better perspective to a buyer than video from all angles. Aerial video of a property provides a view of the main building/house, fencing, property lines, outbuildings, landscaping and everything else related to a particular property.
Using DJI Drones and GoPro high definition video recording equipment Blake King develops a video for each of his property listings. Not only acreages and land, Blake offers every one of his listing clients aerial video as one more way to interest and encourage additional buyers. Placing each video on his YouTube channel capture more potential buyers and can encourage passive “lookers” to become active “buyers.”
One way to sell your home faster and at a higher price is to encourage more interest and impress potential buyers. The reason privately sold property sells much lower than professionally listed property is obvious. The MLS® system alone puts professionally listed homes in front of thousands and thousands of buyers. And to increase the number of potential buyers to Blake King’s listings he uses his P.L.A.N. – Property List Assist Network – and it now includes high definition aerial video (view some of his property videos here at YouTube.com).
