When I track and compare home sales each month in Red Deer I track post single family homes not including mobile homes, condominiums or acreages. I post sales based on the one sample only so each month’s numbers are consistent.
Below is the monthly chart comparing2017 to the previous 4 years. the last couple months have shown better sales, in comparison to 2016, than earlier in the year. It will be interesting to watch what happens as 2017 draws to a close and especially what happens in 2018. I’m predicting 2018 total sales numbers will exceed 2017’s. Below the chart I’ve compared some other sales numbers in Central Alberta too.
Red Deer single family home sales were only 3.6% lower in Oct 2017 compared to 2016.
Central Ab single family home sales were 6.7% lower in Oct 2017 compared to 2016.
Total residential sales in Red Deer were up 2% this October over last.
Total residential sales in Central Alberta were down 3% this October over last.
Blackfalds single family home sales were 1% lower in Oct 2017 compared to 2016 – that’s only one single family unit less than last year 🙂
Sylvan Lake single family home sales were 81% higher in Oct 2017 compared to 2016 – 17 sales in 2016 with 31 in 2017!
