2019 started off looking good with residential average prices increasing both of the first 2 months. And coming off the end of year lower prices the 4-month and 12-month running averages both increased too.
March average prices across Central Alberta are a little less exciting with the 12-month running average dipping 0.3% and the 4-month average dipping 1.7%.
We shouldn’t worry too much when prices dip on any given month because one month doesn’t indicate a trend, and we don’t expect gains of any substantial nature in Central Ab for 2019.
Check back in at www.HomeScope.ca tomorrow when I post home sales numbers in Red Deer and Central Ab.
