July has turned out to be a positive month for the Central Alberta real estate market. The number of homes sold was up and now, looking at July sales we see the last four months average home prices remaining nice and steady.
Even though the July price average is lower than it was in June it’s pretty close and that’s helped increase both the 4 and 12-month averages. Before June, we went 11 months since seeing the home sales price average exceed $300,000.
Month to month average prices can wobble month to month but when 4 and 12-month running averages gradually climb it might indicate a trend ;-). We’ll have a close look at August home sales prices early September. Check back!
